Program Development & Implementation

  • Researching health and social programs being conducted in countries of interest to PMC.
  • Researching country policies and action plans regarding reproductive health, HIV prevention, gender equity, and other areas of concern.
  • Conducting literature reviews and internet research for proposals and program needs.
  • Assisting in the development of program plans and budgets.
  • Writing, formatting, and producing reports and other documents on PMC’s programs.
  • Translating program documents from French/Spanish/Arabic/Portuguese to English.
  • Organizing current electronic and paper filing system. Creating and implementing improved and more efficient systems.

This training guide is designed to be used by journalists and media personnel to plan and execute the production and broadcast of Sabido-style entertainment-education serial dramas for HIV/AIDS prevention, especially among women and girls.

Using the Media to Achieve Reproductive Health and Gender Equity

In 2005, as a companion piece to the training guide, PMC developed a manual documenting best practices in the application of the Sabido methodology of behavior change via entertainment-education.
