Papua New Guinea – Tune In

Population Media Center is currently in production for 2 radio serial dramas in Papua New Guinea that address issues such as gender equality and women’s empowerment, education, family planning, HIV/AIDs prevention, environmental protection, and other related themes. One of the dramas is recorded in Tok Pisin (Pidgin), the other in English. Each includes three different settings and storylines, each having a positive, negative, and transitional character. The issues the dramas touch on are complex, and because of the significant cultural differences defined by geographic location, how they are handled depends on the setting.
