The Fourth Annual “Bioneers by the Bay: Connecting for Change” conference [www.connectingforchange.org] — presented by the Marion Institute [www.marioninstitute.org] and our partner organizations [http://www.connectingforchange.org/partners-2008.html]: Bioneers, Center at Westwoods, Chelsea Green Publishing, City of New Bedford, and Umass Dartmouth—will be held from October 24-26, 2008, in the Historic Downtown of New Bedford, MA. Bioneers by the Bay is an internationally acclaimed annual gathering of environment, industry, and social justice innovators who have demonstrated visionary and practical models for restoring the Earth and its inhabitants.

Over 2,500 students, teachers, green business innovators, scientists, grassroots leaders, and everyday folks from all over the Northeast will gather to learn, teach, celebrate, and connect for change.
