Update to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Population, Development and Reproductive Health Report

Thanks to Karen Newman of the Population and Sustainability Network in the UK for these links and the attached fact sheet on climate change and population. The Network was established to clarify and communicate the importance for sustainability of both population and consumption factors. It aims to bring together development, environment and reproductive health NGOs, government departments, academics and others, to increase leverage on population issues. The Network has completed an update to the 2006 UK All Party Parliamentary Group on Population, Development and Reproductive Health Report on the links between Population and the MDGs. In July 2009 they worked on a Report Update which was launched in July at the House of Commons; the update links population to emerging international development priorities, including climate change and fragile states. The Network also updated the graphs in the original report with more recent data, and the update and graphs too can be accessed here:
