Deadline extended for the Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health 2013 Resolve Award

What is the Resolve Award?

The Global Leaders Council for Reproductive Health Resolve Award is a competitive, non-monetary award honoring innovative and scalable approaches to accelerating progress toward universal access to reproductive health. Winners of the 2013 Resolve Award will be honored by the Council and asked to make keynote remarks in a special ceremony in May 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland at the time of the World Health Assembly.

Who is eligible for the award?

The Council invites nominations for governments of countries that have seen substantial recent progress due to innovations in reproductive health policy, financing, or service delivery.

Any individual or organization working at country level can submit a nomination for the government of the country they’re working in.

How do I submit a nomination?

Information and the application are available online at, or you can download the brochure and application forms and submit them by email. Nominators may submit more than one application, and countries may be nominated more than once.

Why should I submit a nomination?

Your solutions could benefit your peers and should be shared.

Your team has worked hard and deserves recognition: the Council reads all nominations, and winners will be connected with past winners, press, and donors.

The Award has helped past winners demonstrate to the government and to external donors that investing in reproductive health yields development benefits, donor attention and press coverage.

Please contact with any questions.

We look forward to receiving your nomination!
