Último Año represents the first partnership between MTV (one of the world’s leading producers and channels for teens and young adults) and PMC to develop a highly engaging novela (dramatic series) that deals with an array of social issues pertaining to MTV’s target audience. Through the use of PMC’s unique formula for integrating social issues into storylines and scripts and MTV’s ability to create content that captivates millions of teens, the drama Último Año addresses issues present in teenage lives such as sexual health, contraception, HIV/AIDS and STDs, domestic violence, cyber bullying, education, and more.
The 70-episode novela was produced in Mexico and has already won the hearts of millions throughout 18 countries in Latin America in 2012. We are pleased to announce that Último Año began airing in the US for Spanish speaking audiences starting February 11, 2013. The novela will air 5 days a week until the end of May.
