It takes many people's voices to create change. Population Media Center advocates on issues to raise awareness and incite action.

Population Media Center (PMC) is giving away more than 4,000 copies of a dramatic new coffee table book. Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot (OVER) features more than 300 pages of stunning, full-spread photography and is the centerpiece of the 2015 Global Population Speak Out (“Speak Out”) campaign. The book and accompanying online tools – such as sharable postcardsvideos, activist sign-ups – will help spur important conversations and action. Many people don’t realize how quickly global population is growing, the implications on the environment, or that this results from a lack of health and human rights, particularly for women and girls. It’s time to make more people aware that this is a solvable challenge and that solving population growth correctly provides health and human rights to people around the world and positively impacts environmental challenges ranging from climate change to clean water.
