Population Media Center's TV and radio shows are gaining recognition as valuable tools in biological conservation efforts.

This new video illustrates how Population Media Center’s TV and radio shows have helped encourage positive environmental attitudes and behaviors in human communities – and how we are strengthening the country-specific action plans of world-renowned conservation organizations.

“A lot of conservation messaging can be somewhat technical and at times pedantic,” says Glenn Raynor, Executive Director of the Jane Goodall Institute, Democratic Republic of the Congo. “What is really unique about the PMC model is they’re taking the messaging and they’re translating it into a dramatic format. So they are engaging people on a much more emotional, and at times, visceral level.”

PMC would like to thank Tiroir A. Films for production and Jonathan Stack for footage contributions.
