PMC continues to dismantle child marriage in Nepal.

Nepal has one of the highest rates of child marriage in the world, with Girls Not Brides reporting 41 percent of Nepali girls being married before they are 18 years old. With two radio shows and more than a quarter million listeners tuning in every week for two years, PMC went to work to change the social norms. Newly released research from the two shows demonstrates listeners being 2.1 times more likely to have taken action to discourage child marriage, as one among many promising variations between non-listeners and listeners.
