Barbara Johnson

Human Resources Services Manager

Barbara oversees PMC’s human resource management functions, including policy development and oversight, staff management, compensation and benefits administration, recruitment, and employee engagement. She has more than 35 years of experience as a human resources leader in higher education and with nonprofit and corporate organizations.

Before PMC, Barbara was Director of Total Compensation at Harvard University and Chief Human Resources Officer at Dartmouth College and the University of Vermont.

Barbara is a Reiki Master Practitioner, an herbalist, and an avid gardener. She also enjoys teaching human resources management to undergraduates at Vermont Technical College.
