Katie Elder

Development Specialist

Katie collaborates with PMC’s Marketing and Communications and International Programs teams to create opportunities for increased donor support at all levels. She’s in constant communication with committed donors to ensure they’re getting the most out of their relationship with PMC and also plans virtual and in-person events.. While she’s located in her home office, she often travels to meet with donors around the United States.

Out of the Office

Outside of work, Katie is the chair of the WHRO Emerging Leaders Board which promotes public media in her local community as a PBS affiliate. She is also an adjunct professor in the Park, Recreation, and Tourism Studies Department at Old Dominion University.
