Moussa Abdou Saley

Country Director, Niger

Moussa is a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience  in audiovisual communications and advocacy. At PMC, Moussa cultivates and nurtures robust partnerships with donors, government ministries, and collaborating organizations to optimize resource utilization and project sustainability in Niger.

Before joining PMC, Moussa worked for the Office of Radio and Television of Niger, rising from an audiovisual producer to the Director of National Television. He later transitioned to a role as a communications and advocacy officer at UNFPA in Niger, where he focused on sexual and reproductive health rights and led strategic communication campaigns. His expertise also contributed to the SWEDD project and his role as an Advocacy and Campaigns Coordinator at Oxfam, where he excelled in strategic communications and advocacy efforts.

Population Media Center produces and broadcasts, in an attractive way, television or radio programs to motivate people to change, to be more effective and to persevere in their actions even if difficulties arise in their new behavior. It is this type of work that motivates Moussa the most at PMC.

OUT OF OFFICE

Moussa is a lover of nature, music and travel. He particularly enjoys watching films and documentaries.

Moussa liked the soap opera Haské Magnin Duhu which was produced and broadcast in Niger a few years ago by PMC.
