Los Angeles, CA – Population Media Center (PMC), a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to global health, women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, and environmental sustainability, is pleased to announce the successful launch of Toma Mi Mano (“Take My Hand”).
With a 26-year legacy, PMC has impacted the lives of hundreds of millions in over 50 countries with its expertise in using media for social good. Its transformative narratives for radio, television, and the web feature relatable characters modeling healthy behaviors.
Toma Mi Mano is one of PMC’s most innovative projects, a 156-episode Spanish audionovela series addressing vital social and health topics, including family planning for young couples, teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, and gang violence.
