DonateEphraim has worked for PMC since 2008, first as Executive Assistant to the country representative before becoming Country Director in 2019. He is passionate about using media to confront the significant health and development challenges facing Nigeria: extreme poverty, gender inequality, public health emergencies, climate change, and many others.
As Country Director, he oversees the implementation, management, and evaluation of PMC’s programs in Nigeria to achieve cost-effective results. This ensures the continuity and growth of programs and funding. He hires and supervises in-country staff and contractual workers and is part of PMC’s global leadership team, collaborating with colleagues in other countries.
Ephraim enjoys the creative side of program development and working with writers and actors to bring a radio show to life.
Ephraim enjoys watching football (soccer), writing, and performing community service. He also works as a farmer and entrepreneur and is a Fellow with the Institute of Management Consultants, IMC. He also founded the Annang Festival of Arts and Culture, which promotes the cultural heritage of Annang Nation in Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. He is President of both the Nto Annang Foundation and the Annang Community Abuja. Ephraim is a traditional Nigerian chief with the title of Abom 1 of Okon, Abom Annang, Ubokudom 1 of Ikot Essien, Mmfa 1 of Akwa Ibom Community Gwagwa in Abuja, among other titles.
