What is your name, position, and how long have you worked for PMC?
My name is Lambert Essien. I am the Finance Officer of Population Media Center Nigeria. I joined PMC in March, 2013, so I have been around for more than eight years.
What is your favorite thing about working at PMC?
PMC offers equal opportunity for all, irrespective of social status. At PMC, everyone is important.
What is a normal day for you at PMC?
My normal work day consists of a daily routine of reviewing my check-list of tasks and ensuring to discharge them based on priority. However, there could be spontaneous tasks that need urgent attention.
What is one of the biggest challenges of your job?
Developing cost proposals under time constraints.
Why did you decide to work for PMC?
First, I take pride in working for an international development organization like PMC. Second, I love new challenges. These are the reasons why I decided to work for PMC.
Tell us a little about your childhood, family, or favorite things to do outside of PMC.
About my childhood, I grew up in a lovely, happy family. Childhood was fun – I had little or nothing to worry about. My parents were always there for my needs. About favorite things I like to do outside of PMC, I love to travel.

Working with PMC is a fulfilled dream.
